Mountain Town Walking Tours is owned by long time Tahoe Local, Karen Willcuts, who started giving walking tours more than 30 years ago in San Francisco.  After a couple of years of volunteering, she made it her living. 

In 1995, she became a professional tour guide and has given numerous tours in the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, and Truckee. 

Developing the Tahoe City and Truckee walking tours was her way to share some of the magic of the Lake Tahoe Area.
